Camp Brave Heart
Camp Brave Heart is a bereavement camp for children ages 6-17 who are coping with recent loss.
The goal of this special weekend event is to provide:
- Skills to cope with grief and loss
- An opportunity to memorialize a loved one
At camp, children interact with loving camp buddies made up of Hope professionals, school counselors, teachers, and volunteers who have completed a special education series.
While Camp Brave Heart may have a serious purpose, children will have plenty of fun. Their time is filled with creative, stress-reducing sessions with crafts and singing, as well as therapeutic activities.
